Elder Leake & Elder Campbell: We started this transfer by trying to figure out why our bathroom smells like dry pee… Gross! We leaned over to smell the floor and then the toilet.As I leaned over the toilet… *bloop* goes the cell phone into the toilet from my shirt pocket. After a long two seconds of shock and staring at each other the phone started to glow and I reached in the nasty toilet to grab it. Elder Campbell ran to get a bag and fill it with rice. He started to poor potato flakes into a bowl and yelled, “This isn’t rice!!!!”. We found the rice and put it and the phone in a bag and waited…. and waited like we were waiting for the results in a patient room in the E.R. (mind you we serve in Ephrata, WA and Elder Campbell was waiting for a call to get a ride to Spokane for leadership training that Friday…). A day and a half later the phone showed signs of life. In the end Elder Campbell got a ride to Spokane, the phone works just fine, and the bathroom still smells like dry pee…
